Our Story

The Darlington Family & KMZZ

In 1938, our great-grandmother’s farm became Anderson Municipal Airport, managed by our grandfather Art Darlington. In 1979, the family brought that same dedication to Marion Municipal Airport — and we’ve been here ever since.

Today, Andy Darlington — second-generation airport manager, CFII, and lifelong aviator — leads the team. He grew up mowing the field and fueling airplanes, went to college, and came back to build something worth coming back to.
